TWO AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURERS CHOOSE QUALITYWORX TO MANAGE PRODUCTION DATA TO IMPROVE YIELD AND QUALITY
Visteon and Toyota Motor Co. have recently selected Sciemetric Instruments’ QualityWorX® software to manage manufacturing process data in their plants.
QualityWorX® is an off-the-shelf software solution that takes complex production data from the manufacturing line, stores it in a database and provides post-production analysis and reporting off-line. It enables manufacturing managers to make informed decisions to improve manufacturing quality and to identify the root cause of quality issues to increase yield.
Visteon, a long-time customer of Sciemetric’s introduced QualityWorX® Enterprise edition into its axle manufacturing plant in Michigan. QualityWorX will be used to collect, monitor and analyze data in the final assembly of axles for Ford trucks. Sciemetric pioneered in-process testing with Ford in the early 1990s.
Toyota Motor Co. recently selected QualityWorX® Enterprise edition over competitive alternatives for assembly manufacturing of transmissions at the West Virginia plant.
