SCIEMETRIC INSTRUMENTS SCOOPS BUSINESS TV HOST
Trump not the only one with the next Apprentice
Sciemetric Instruments of Ottawa is pleased to announce that Janet Eastman has joined the company.
As the host and producer of Ottawa Citizen Business TV Janet profiled and reported on business activities in the city for the last 6 seasons. In that role she developed a strong rapport with the business community and a broad knowledge of the business issues that affect the high tech community. She joins Sciemetric as a Community Black Belt. Responsible for developing the Sciemetric brand globally and developing new social communities or interest in Manufacturing, Eastman will be assisting to build a new pillar organization in the Ottawa area.
“We chose the title Community Black Belt to play on the Six Sigma Black Belt’s that our customer’s so frequently use to aid them in their quality analysis” said Allan Zander, Sciemetric’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
“About two years ago I interview Sciemetric Instruments founder Nathan Sheaff and was amazed that this quiet Ottawa company had several Fortune 500 customers. The company recently named CML alumni Steve Panyko to the role of CEO and Allan Zander to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing and there is no doubt that this is a company that will not be a hidden gem for long. I am thrilled to be part of the Sciemetric team”, said Eastman.
We undertook a method very similar to what we saw in the popular TV show the Apprentice to find the world class talent that we needed to meet our business objectives. After meeting many great individuals from around the world we were delighted to find what we were looking for locally with Janet” said Zander.
