SCIEMETRIC IMPLEMENTS 3520 TRANSMISSION NVH TEST SYSTEM

Sciemetric secures a contract to implement its 3520 Transmission NVH Test System at a large OEM transmission supplier. Increasing transmission complexity, longer warranty expectations and intermittent quality spills motivated this transmission manufacturer to deploy this advanced test system. Defects detected include but are not limited to: gear geometry issues, gear noise or damage, machining problems, loose or rubbing components, bearing problems and incorrect shaft assemblies. As a result of implementing the Sciemetric Transmission NVH Test system, this transmission manufacturer will improve customer satisfaction and decrease their quarantine and warranty charge back costs.
