SCIEMETRIC COMPLETES HVAC COMMISSIONING
Two HVAC End of Line test stations completed for prominent automotive OEM.
Sciemetric has recently completed the commissioning of two HVAC End of Line test stations for a prominent automotive OEM. The test stations utilize Sciemetric’s signature analysis technology to verify the functionality of the completed assemblies.
Functional tests include analysis of the blower motor, door actuators, air flow and evaporator probe.
The test stations have proven successful in detecting defects such as missing components, assembly defects, sticking doors, noisy blower motors, seal leaks, wiring harness defects and evaporator probe integrity.
Test results are archived with Sciemetric’s QualityWorX database for post test statistical analysis.
The success of this implementation has led the OEM to increase the utilization of Sciemetric systems throughout their manufacturing operations.
