Sciemetric Instruments, a leading provider of analytics software-driven manufacturing process solutions today announced the successful implementation of an innovative process monitoring technology for a leading Japanese automotive manufacturer.
An injection molding operation required improvement to meet the manufacturer’s stringent quality standards. Because their existing system did not enable collection and analysis of process data, it was difficult for the car-maker to identify areas for process improvement. These challenges affected both quality and throughput.
Sciemetric implemented a solution that combines real time in-process signature analysis with QualityWorX analytics software to proactively review and improve the process.
