Nathan Sheaff - Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Nathan, a University of Waterloo graduate in Electrical Engineering, founded Sciemetric Instruments in 1981. He developed Sciemetric's innovative Signature Analysis technology, which is currently being used to detect and analyze defects in manufacturing processes across many sectors. Under Nathan's leadership, the company has grown from a few employees in one location to the current organization, which has subsidiaries in the U.S.,Europe, and Asia and boasts an impressive list of Fortune 500 customers worldwide.
Mathew Daniel - Director of Operations
Mat, a University of Windsor graduate in Mechanical Engineering, has been with Sciemetric since June 2004. Previously responsible for the Windsor office including the Field Applications team, Mat is now the Global Director of Operations, managing service and installation, product development and manufacturing and quality. Mat's expertise, derived from many years of front line experience in the automotive sector, has positioned him to be an innovative leader regarding developing business process that meet the company's needs while always maintaining a customer focus.
Don Silverman, CMA - Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Don, a designated CMA, joined Sciemetric in March 2008. He is responsible for all financial systems for the Company's head office and its subsidiaries. In addition, he is responsible for the supply chain and administrative processes. Don's business background, including Director General at St. Vincent de Paul and Controller and General Manager at Thelen Torontow have resulted in a strong focus in manufacturing and cost accounting as well as system development and integration. With strong organizational and system management skills, Don's positive and collaborative approach contributes to Sciemetric's success.
