How It Works
The Sciemetric platform consists of both hardware and software components. Our data acquisition systems fit seamlessly into your production lines where sigPODs capture data from a multitude of data sources, regardless of whether they’re from Sciemetric or another vendor. These systems use preloaded process signature software to analyze processes and determine pass or fail at different operations along the line.
This data is then collected and stored in a database, such as Sciemetric’s QualityWorX, on either an SQL or web server. Data can then be reviewed and analyzed either online or at the desktop.

sigPOD
sigPOD is a flexible testing platform that standardizes testing across the production line. Offering a common hardware configuration and software look and feel, sigPOD comes loaded with process signature software that facilitates 100% inspection during critical manufacturing processes. Fully expandable – from two channels up to 24 channels – the platform is available for a range of manufacturing test and monitoring applications including leak testing, sound and vibration analysis, press-fit monitoring, functional testing, torque, weld and process monitoring, or process signature verification (sigPOD PSV).
