In-Process testing (IPT) for Axle Manufacturing
A typical axle line contains many of the common manufacturing test and process monitoring applications, such as:
- Press-fit monitoring
- Leak testing
- Gauging and rofiling, and
- Sound and vibration analysis
The optional QualityWorX system works in conjunction with our defect detection systems to capture all relevant test result data from a part as it moves through the production process. The part history information provided by QualityWorX® allows axle manufacturers to isolate specific parts for a selective recall as opposed to a costly and damaging mass-recall.
